Daryl Swetlishoff was named Head of Research of Raymond James Canada in May 2007. Based in Vancouver, he is responsible for a group of 35 equity research professionals providing coverage on ~225 companies across seven sectors. He is also an analyst covering the Forest Products sector for Raymond James since joining the firm in 2001. For the past four years Brendan Wood International has recognized Daryl as the #1 ranked analyst in the space. Daryl holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and earned an MA (Economics) from the University of Victoria (1994).
Ken joined Raymond James in late 2011 as an equity research analyst covering Canadian REITs and real estate operating companies. Ken has over 15 years of experience in the investment, lending and real estate industries. He returns to the Raymond James organization after spending two years as the Director of Finance and Capital Markets at First Potomac Realty Trust where he was responsible for debt, equity and hedging transactions, investor relations and risk management. First Potomac is a $2 billion office/industrial REIT based in Washington D.C., which doubled in size during Ken's tenure. Prior to First Potomac, Ken held various positions in equity research at Raymond James & Associates in St. Petersburg, FL, most recently holding the title of VP – REIT Analyst while covering nearly 25 stocks. Ken holds a BA from Boston College, and earned an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU with a concentration in Finance and international Business.

Frederic Bastien joined Raymond James Ltd. in 2003 and provides coverage in the industrial sector. Mr. Bastien has achieved Brendan Wood International’s annual TopGun status in the Small Cap and Special Situations category since 2008. In 2009, he ranked as the number one Diversified Industrials earnings estimator in StarMine’s annual survey of analyst performance for Canada. Mr. Bastien holds an MBA from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from McGill University, and the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

Andrew Bradford originally joined Raymond James in an analyst capacity in 2000, and after a brief hiatus, returned to the firm in December 2007. Andrew has been performing investment analysis for investment dealers on the energy sector and the energy services industry since 1998. Prior to that, he spent two years with a Calgary-based energy-focused private equity firm. Andrew earned a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Calgary in 1996 and is a CFA charterholder.

Ben Cherniavsky joined Raymond James Ltd. in 1998. As an analyst, Mr. Cherniavsky covers the infrastructure and construction space as well as aerospace and aviation companies. He is a top-ranked analyst with Brendan Wood, retaining his top-three TopGun status from 2003 to 2014. Prior to pursuing his MBA, Mr. Cherniavsky worked in public finance as a research analyst for the Ministry of Finance in Ottawa and at the University of Toronto’s International Centre for Tax Studies. Kurt Molnar joined Raymond James in 2013 as an energy analyst. Mr. Molnar began his 25-year energy finance career as a corporate lender in CIBC Energy Group and crossed over to the institutional equities side of the business in the mid-1990s, holding roles in institutional sales, investment banking, and energy research at various banks and boutiques. From 2001 through 2004 he took a hiatus from the finance industry to be one of three founders of a successful private E&P company. Mr. Molnar holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary with a major in Finance.

Michael joined Raymond James Ltd. in 2015 as an analyst covering Canadian diversified financial companies. He began his capital markets career in equity research in 1996 with TD Securities, moving to UBS Securities Canada in 1998 where his coverage included the Canadian banks and life insurance companies. He then spent over ten years in institutional equity sales roles between UBS and National Bank Financial, providing broad market coverage to Canadian institutional clients. Chris Thompson joined Raymond James Ltd. in September 2012 as a mining equity research analyst focusing on precious metals small to mid-capital developers and producers. Prior to joining Raymond James, Mr. Thompson worked for Haywood Securities for seven years covering small to mid-capital explorers, developers and producers. He also spent time as a geologist and mineral economist for junior exploration companies through to major mining companies. In 2011, Mr. Thompson was awarded the StarMine Top Analyst award for stockpicker in the Metals and Mining sector. Kenric Tyghe joined the firm in July 2009 as an equity analyst covering Consumer Products and Retail, and has in excess of 12-years of experience in equity research and trading.
