Annual Giving Campaign 2016
The Annual Giving Campaign (AGC), held every November and December, allows the Raymond James Canada Foundation (RJCF) and our colleagues to make a difference in the communities they live. During this time, funds that are committed are matched up to $2,000 to qualified registered Canadian charities by the RJCF. This greatly enhances the value of every dollar donated.
This year, $767,945.00 was raised for 300 charities and organizations across Canada. Altogether, 369 Raymond James associates donated to charities close to their hearts during the campaign. Impressively, this year we had the largest employee participation in the history of the AGC and a record number of causes received donations.
Of special mention is the $65,891 that was donated directly to the RJCF, which will help us give back to our communities throughout the year and be more responsive in times of need. This year's $100,000 support of the Red Cross' work during the Fort McMurray wildfires highlights this commitment.
