Cindy David Recognized as one of Canada's Top 50 Influential Women in Insurance

Congratulations to Cindy David, Estate Planning Advisor, Vancouver who was recently named as one of the "50 Women of Influence in Canada's Life Insurance Industry." In her 12th year at Raymond James, and 20th year in the business, Cindy is a valued colleague and has been an outstanding resource for many advisors across the firm.

"Cindy is an outstanding partner at Raymond James and adds tremendous value to our client relationships," said Sybil Verch, Branch Manager & Portfolio Manager, Victoria. "We are extremely lucky to have Cindy on our team and she clearly demonstrates that hard work pays off. Her high energy and go getter attitude has led to this outstanding recognition. Congratulations Cindy, I'm proud of you!"

Traditionally male-dominated, the Canadian insurance industry is changing. Many women are now contributing their energy, talents and determination towards the financial security of Canadians. As such, The Insurance and Investment Journal honoured 50 women who work in the insurance industry for their professional achievements. The women were nominated by a group of industry professionals representing the journal.

"It's a real privilege to be recognized in the industry along with my colleagues," said Cindy. "I feel really blessed to have been given the opportunity to excel at something I truly enjoy. The award is intended to highlight the achievements and contributions of successful women in financial services with the goal of providing role models and inspiration to others. To that end, I would say that I have seldom suffered from a lack of self-confidence, but looking back 20 years ago when I entered the industry, I wish I knew then with as much certainty... I am worthy."
