Introducing Gordon Plewes
In my experience, most people’s primary goal is not to simply accumulate wealth. Instead, we often view financial success as the ability to use our resources in meaningful ways, to support ourselves and the people or causes that mean the most to us. Our wealth is simply a tool to live the life we desire now and in the future.
You worked hard to get to where you are and you want to make smart decisions with your money. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), my advice extends to many aspects of your financial picture. I can help you make smart decisions around debts you carry, investments you depend on and insurance you use to protect what you have. - RRSPs, RRIFs, TFSAs
- Pension Transfers
- RESPs & RDSPs
- Tax-Efficient Investments
Education
In 2006, upon receiving my Bachelor of Commerce degree (General Business & Economics) from the University of Northern BC, I started working with Raymond James as a Financial Advisor. After helping my clients navigate the 2008 financial crisis, I attained my Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2009. This requires extensive coursework and ongoing professional development in a wide range of financial planning issues, from investment management to estate, insurance and retirement planning. In 2013, I completed my Certified Professional Consultant on Aging (CPCA) designation, which helps me better serve the unique needs of retirees and seniors.
If you would like to discuss the benefits of an independent full service financial advisor, I’d invite you to contact us to schedule a complimentary, no-obligation consultation.
