Introducing Brad Taylor
I welcome the opportunity to work with people who are concerned about reducing taxes, and prefer to choose investments and/or insurance products that they understand. My recommendations are based on each individual’s plans for retirement, post secondary requirements, or their need for corporate funds. My enjoyment comes from working with clients to achieve their financial needs and their long-term goals in this ever-changing world.
I started investing in the equity markets at a very young age with my father and realized that this was a profession that I would enjoy and could add value to clients. Immediately, after finishing grade school, I enrolled in the Investment Management and Business Administration program at Vancouver Community College (VCC). I started my career at Goepel Shields and Partners in 1992 and began advising clients in 1997 when I joined McDermid St. Lawrence. The firm combined with Goepel Shields before joining forces with Raymond James in 2001. I also hold the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation and am a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI). Having been born and raised in the Fraser Valley of British Columbia made me very aware of the business climate in this region. Today, I live in North Burnaby with my wife, Carmela and my two young children.
Services
My dedication to you is a pledge of integrity, trust, quality service and above all else, hard work. I will devote my best efforts to exceeding your service expectations.
My approach is to focus on you as an individual - not as a number. It starts with getting to know you and your family to understand your unique goals. Only then will I develop a customized investment plan that may include:
- Traditional selections - equities, mutual funds, ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income products, RRSPs, RESPs, and Tax-Free Savings Accounts
- Comprehensive financial & estate planning
- More sophisticated opportunities and diversification, using asset managers fee-based accounts
- Support for a variety of business needs
- Leading research on more than 800 companies covered by Raymond James analysts
