Brian Aarenau
With over 20 years of experience, Brian Aarenau works as a financial advisor at Raymond James helping to coach and guide clients toward the achievement of their financial and lifestyle goals. Offering a wide range of investment and insurance solutions, Brian focuses on listening to each client because he believes everyone’s needs and financial goals for the future are unique.
Specializing in a global multi-asset pension style approach to investing, Brian works with clients to design investment portfolios to help them achieve their risk adjusted objectives. The global multi-asset pension style approach adds an extra layer of diversification by investing in asset classes that react differently to market news. This can help to reduce volatility within the portfolio. Service is what sets Brian apart from others in the industry. Brian can assist you with a wide range of investment products and services, helping you to create a plan that meets your lifestyle objectives from education to retirement. Whether you need to protect or grow your wealth, Brian will put you – and your needs – first.
Brian completed his Masters of Management Studies in finance. Brian enhanced his knowledge by completing the Canadian Securities Course in 1996, and the Life Underwriters Association training course in 1997, qualifying him to serve as a life underwriter. Over the last number of years, he completed the Canadian Securities Institute’s Hedge Funds Essentials course and the requirements for licensing for principal protected notes.
Brian takes pride in community involvement. He served as a cabinet member for State of Israel Bonds. He served as both a member of the Board of Trustees and Insurance committee of the Ottawa Jewish Community Foundation. He has been a member of Machzikei Hadas Synagogue since 1991.
