About Michel G. Bergeron

Portfolio manager, Michel G. Bergeron has been working in the investment field for more than 35 years. After completing his studies in finance, he began his career, in 1984, at MacDougall, MacDougall & MacTier Inc. (3Macs) as an investment advisor, then as a portfolio manager. From 1989 to 2017, he served as Branch Manager of the Quebec branch. 3Macs was acquired in October 2016 and became a division of Raymond James Ltd., one of Canada's largest independent wealth management firms.

By offering his clients discretionary portfolio management service, Michel is able to react quickly to market fluctuations and opportunities, depending on their personal situation. He also offers a conventional brokerage service, depending on his customer's preference.

From wealth management to asset transfer, he offers personalized financial advice to families. The long-term business relationship he develops and maintains with his clients is a real privilege. It turns out that, over the decades, many of them encourage their children, and even their grandchildren, to entrust their investments to him.

It is with this same passion and dedication that he still practices his profession today. Surrounded by a reliable and experienced team, he has been able to count on the precious collaboration of his assistants, Josée Cantin and Julie Aubin, since 1997. During summer of 2015, Linh Luong, an actuarial graduate from Université Laval, joined the team as a partner and Investment Advisor. Since 2022, she has been practicing under the title of Associate Portfolio Manager.
