The Boronkay Team Wealth Management
As a Portfolio Manager Peter developed a unique methodology called RISE (Rules-based, Innovative, and Sustainable Endeavours) as a way of managing investments customized to each client. Peter’s investment career began in 1997 at a national bank-owned firm, before he moved to an independent platform with Raymond James in 2012. Peter achieved the internationally recognized Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designations, as well as licensing in Life Insurance.
Peter’s philosophy is to stand out from the crowd, challenge the status quo, and offer both Private and Institutional clients a clear, intelligent rules-based Wealth Management offering. The aim is to offer independent advice in a competent and compelling way that fosters trust through placing clients' interests first, providing top notch personalized service, and a transparent and fair fee structure.
"We build your trust through our credibility, a consistent client experience, integrity and accountability." - Peter Boronkay
Peter’s RISE approach incorporates Six Investment Models structured to cover the three main classes of investing, including: Income, Equities, and Alternatives. These models are complemented by a wide scope of services by team members and affiliates including financial, estate and insurance planning.
Peter is active in the sports community as an elected Governor of Golf Canada, former Director of Finance for the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC), Supporter of the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and graduate of the Olympic Academy of Canada (OAC).
Along with Peter’s career, he is a TEDx speaker, published author, Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) and he enjoys cottage life, golf, trail running, skiing, reading and writing. He is married and has two daughters, a great cat and a devoted dog.
