About Tipu Chughtai

With more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, Tipu Chughtai and his team advise high-net-worth families, their businesses and foundations on a broad range of comprehensive financial planning strategies. As an Investment Advisor for Raymond James, located in Montreal, QC, Tipu believes in the value of holistic financial planning and plays an essential role in all aspects of the client’s financial planning process with a strong focus on tax reduction strategies to achieve the highest net results.

Tipu has his Series 65 license, and is registered as an Investment Advisor with Raymond James (USA) Ltd. He is better able to serve his U.S.-based clients by offering fee-based investment advice, and offers cross-border financial services as well.

Before joining Raymond James as an Investment Advisor, Tipu worked at another financial services firm where he served as a Consultant and progressed to a Senior Consultant. He is among an elite group of advisors registered with both IIROC and FINRA.

Tipu graduated from the prestigious McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics (Honors). He also completed his graduate diploma in Accounting from McGill. A firm believer in continuing education, Tipu is currently pursuing the CFA charter.
