Khoa moved from Ottawa to Ft. McMurray in 2008 and now proudly calls Ft. McMurray home. Impressed with what Ft. McMurray had to offer, he decided to put down his roots in the community, and started a family with his wife, Thu Tran, who works as a dental hygienist in a local dental practice. They now have two children, Ashton Nguyen and Mia Nguyen, who were both born in Fort McMurray. Khoa strongly believes in giving back to the community he lives in, and does charity work with both the local Knights of Columbus, as well as, the Kinsmen Club of Ft. McMurray.

Khoa has over ten years’ experience as a Financial Planner at one of Canada’s largest banks. He currently works with, and advises numerous high net worth families in the Ft. McMurray area. Khoa has earned both his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Charted Investment management (CIM) designations. He has become a local authority in creating comprehensive financial plans and investments strategies for his clients, building client portfolios for investments, taxation reduction, retirement, risk management, and income planning.

Khoa believes in building trust, listening, and understanding his clients’ goals so he can create a holistic and comprehensive financial plan for each. He understands that every person has different needs, so everyone’s plan must be unique to them. Khoa works with clients in every stage of their lives, and understands that goals and needs change as our lives change.
