Our Process



Making changes can be scary for many people and there are many questions most people have. To provide the best service delivery for our clients, we have designed the following process to serve you better. This allows you to fully understand what needs to happen and when so you can make the right decisions for your family. We do this work over three appointments:

Week 1 Initial Consultation (15-minute phone call): to determine if my team can provide the right solutions for you and to give you a chance to ask me questions. If you decide you would like to move forward, I will email you a request for information and set a date for your initial appointment.

Week 2 One-hour, in-person meeting: This allows me to go over the information you provided ahead of time and get any clarification I need. I can address any items that are jumping off the page in terms of your immediate needs or places to start. We will open your accounts if you decide to move forward. We set our second meeting at the end of this meeting, to best use your time. ***NOTE*** All client information must be received 48 hours prior to appointment or the meeting will be cancelled. I ask for this prior to meeting as you aren’t paying to watch me fill in forms; our time is best spent getting to know your situation and determining your needs.

Week 4/5 After the first meeting and once your transfers are complete, written solutions will be provided and your plan will be built. We will present your plan at our second meeting, showing you how your funds should be invested to achieve the results you need. With your agreement, we will implement your customised financial solutions.

Follow-up

Our Standard Services includes:

  1. Monthly account statements and annual tax documents
  2. Quarterly rebalancing of your portfolio
  3. Quarterly market updates by phone including goal-based reporting
  4. Semi-annual review with advisor
  5. Bi-annual update to retirement plan
  6. Cash flow plan (paid)
  7. 24-hour response to inquiries
  8. Standard rates based on assets

Our Signature Services includes:

  1. Monthly account statements and annual tax documents
  2. Quarterly rebalancing of your portfolio
  3. Monthly market updates by phone

Expectations of our clients:

  1. Timely follow-up: We ask for a response within 48 hours for information requests.
  2. Keep us up to date: If anything to do with your money changes we need to know (e.g. address change, marriage, divorce, job, accountant/attorney/tax preparer,)
  3. Ask us questions: If you don’t understand something to do with your info/accounts, please ASK. We can’t fix what we don’t know about.
