#JUSTGIVE inspires kindness in our communities

The Oak Ridge Wealth Management team in Brooklin, Ontario took great strides to give back to their community. Bill Howe and his team participated in this year's JUST GIVE initiative, a campaign led by the Pinball Clemons Foundation, designed to inspire kindness throughout our communities by filling local food banks for the summer. This year, JUST GIVE partnered with several food banks across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) including Daily Bread Food Bank, Feed the Need in Durham and The Mississauga Food Bank.

"Throughout the campaign we worked closely with our central food bank, Feed the Need Durham, and we're proud to say we've raised more than $63,000," says Bill, Financial Advisor, Brooklin. "It's remarkable that we've raised so much in such a short amount of time."

Proceeds raised through the JUST GIVE initiative will supportfood banks across the GTA, so they can purchase food this summer, a time of year when food supplies are low.

Bill said that 100% of donations will go to local food banks, plus they will also be matched to double the impact!

TORONTO, Ont. - On April 19, 2017 eight regions across GTA Southern Ontario met at the Air Canada hangar to kick off the JUST GIVE campaign.
