Chris Haines joined Raymond James in 2025, bringing 25 years of industry experience. In his role, he is responsible for Raymond James’ independent advisor channel in Canada, supporting advisor growth and service.

After serving in the military, Chris began his career in financial services in 2000, working in the commercial and corporate banking sector before transitioning to the investment side in 2008. He has led teams in asset management sales and wealth management, with a strong passion for growth and practice management. Chris holds the CFA charter and is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada.

Outside of work and family, Chris is passionate about Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He holds a brown belt and trains and teaches classes as often as he can.
